About me

I studied English Literature at the University of Thessaloniki. Thessaloniki is my hometown but I've been living in Chalkis since I got married. At the beginning of my teaching career I created a private language school in my hometown which I left later when I was appointed in the public Technological Institution of Chalkis (TEI of Chalkis), where I've been teaching since 1982. Only recently, 2000-2002, did I manage to make the journey of my life in the USA to attend the Graduate Program MATESL at St Michael's College in Vermont, which hadalways been my dream.

I'm proud of a nice family: my husband, who facilitated my graduate studies and supported me with his encouragement, patience and understanding and three lovely children who had to do without their mother for quite a time.
